Cooking Battle is a cookery game openly inspired by the brilliant Overcooked, where you enter a kitchen and try to whip up all the dishes your diners order. The more plates you send out, the better your score and the more possibilities you'll have to beat your rivals.
The game system is very like the aforementioned Overcooked. Over every diner's head you see the dish they want, and the faster you cook it the more points you get. To prepare each order you've got to tap, work, and combine the ingredients. That said, you normally have to coordinate with your two line cooks if you want to get the orders out on time. And on occasion that's not at all easy.
Cooking Battle has several different game modes, including online battles where you can compete against other players online. Plus you can play with no need for an Internet connection, thanks to the various one-player challenges included in the game. On these occasions your companion is controlled by the AI.
During the first levels in Cooking Battle you hardly have any ingredients, which makes everything easier. As you move ahead in the game, though, you'll get access to lots more ingredients: tomatoes, meat, pasta, fish, etc. The more ingredients available, the harder things get.
Cooking Battle is a very entertaining cooking game with gorgeous graphics and a challenging and addictive gameplay. Plus the game has more than a dozen chefs you can unlock as you play and a whole bunch of different settings to cook in.
